Kid-ovation™- is about
products/brands for kids, created by kids!
Kid-O-Vation is a cross between a kid focus group and a kid
brainstorming session. Clients get a greater understanding of
the attitudes, behaviors and needs of the age segment, as they
discover new ideas and ways to make existing ideas more
relevant and exciting.
Kid-O-Vation was created by our youth leader, child psychologist,
and new product experts when several Clients complained they could
rarely get useable ideas from kids. They were frustrated with the
wild impracticality of many of the ideas.
The Kid-O-Vation process is designed to get to the insight
behind the wild ideas suggested by kids and teens. We work on
dimensionalizing the insight, and then discovering and shaping
many new ideas, using kid- specific innovation principles.
The process is very Client centered, because the Client is
in the room with the kids, working with two Mindgarden facilitators,
directing areas of exploration on the spot. (We teach Clients
how to do this.)
Mindarden Future Brains™ are highly creative, trained
brain kids ages 9-18 who are often involved in Kid-O-Vation sessions.
We also work with research facilities in recruiting creative kids
against your specs. Sessions begin with a brief training segment
that gives kid/teen participants tools to be excellent problem
solvers.
